Jose Sanchez’s journey is one defined by courage, discipline, and relentless determination. A proud United States Marine, Sanchez served his country with honor through multiple combat tours, including a defining deployment to Libya. On September 11, 2012, during the terror attacks on the U.S. Embassy in Benghazi, Sanchez was among the Marines on the ground — standing firm in the face of chaos, protecting American lives under unimaginable pressure.

After completing his service and receiving an honorable discharge, Sanchez transitioned from the battlefield to the construction industry, bringing with him the same values that defined his military career: integrity, attention to detail, and leadership. He began working for a roofing company, where he spent years mastering the trade through hands-on experience, countless hours of training, and industry certifications.

Driven by a vision to raise the standard of quality and service in the commercial roofing industry, Sanchez founded Shellback Roofing — a name inspired by Marine tradition and resilience. What began as a one-man operation quickly grew into a trusted and respected name in commercial roofing. Today, Shellback Roofing stands as a top competitor in the industry, known for its precision craftsmanship, safety standards, and commitment to excellence on every project.
